Online contemporary fashion retailer STYLEPIT wanted to attract fashionistas to its European site and build a brand as strong as the ones it sells. To do so, it created a unique and interactive snapshot showcasing its range of products. Users could pan the ultra-long lookbook in slow motion, click on any of the clothing pieces and purchase or share them on social media.

The Story

Online contemporary fashion retailer STYLEPIT wanted to attract fashionistas to its European site and build a brand as strong as the ones it sells. To do so, it created a unique and interactive snapshot showcasing its range of products. Users could pan the ultra-long lookbook in slow motion, click on any of the clothing pieces and purchase or share them on social media.

The snapshot was captured using a high-speed Phantom Flex camera, shooting 1,000 frames per second and traveling along the full length of the set at 50 mph on specially designed tracks. The site UI was created to be as minimalistic and intuitive as possible so that users could easily navigate through the different items for sale.
