The Story

In July 2012, Parliament adopted a controversial law that eliminated the status of the Ukrainian language as the single official language. The issue quickly became a hot topic in the country. We joined the conversation with our "Yes! I am Ukrainian" project - an interactive book where Ukrainians could express their national pride.

Through a Facebook application, we created an interactive book that let anyone express their point of view and Ukrainian pride. There were over 6,500 authors. The book was physically published and passed to the Ukrainian National History Museum, which earned the project tons of PR and mainstream media coverage.

The Results

The results speak for themselves. The brand's community followers grew by 25%, while the app became #1 in Ukraine. Most importantly, thousands of Ukrainians expressed their national pride.
