Fans still flock to live events, but they get there through the web. Digital now plays a role in every step of the consumer journey - from discovering a favorite band is coming to town to sharing pictures of the show on social media. U.S. consumers, on average, made five live event ticket purchases in the past year. Two thirds of those tickets were bought online and web resources were the main driver behind their purchase.
