The Lantern Award is back for the second year in a row to celebrate Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr creative campaigns that move audiences on YouTube. Tailored to all advertisers, creative and media agencies, The Lantern Award highlights creative excellence in Ramadan and Eid el Fitr advertising, based on YouTube views and engagements.
Last year, YouTube launched The Lantern, an award celebrating creativity in connecting with consumers during the holy month of Ramadan up until Eid.
Thanks to last year’s success, YouTube has decided to re-launch the Lantern Award with force. Several features have been revamped and new elements have been brought in in order to raise awareness, enhance user experience and amplify the connection with a wider YouTube audience.
In order to enhance user experience and amplify the connection with a wider audience, the YouTube team has created both a website and a YouTube channel dedicated to the award.
The newly launched website serves as a one stop shop for all that is Lantern! Visitors of the site will be able to learn more about the challenge, acquire insights and most of all sign up!
