Here’s what the UK’s loving on YouTube this week.

1. What better way to kick off the Christmas weekend, than a rendition of ‘Fairytale of New York’ by Ed Sheeran and Anne-Marie in BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. Expect velvety tones, complete musical joy and a bonus Jingle Bells thrown in the mix too. Lovely jubbly.

2. Across the pond, Jimmy Fallon, Anna Kendrick, Darlene Love & The Roots get together to sing ‘Baby Please Come Home’ along with some pretty retro ‘classroom instruments’. Ah, the memories (always got given the triangle to play? Yeah, us too).

3. The Ellen Show is a gift that just keeps on giving. In this snippet from one of our favourite YouTube Originals, Ellen DeGeneres sneaks into one of Justin Bieber’s Christmas music videos. It really is the most wonderful time of the year.

4. Could you imagine finding out that you’ve just landed a role in a Star Wars movie? And you get to play with a lightsaber IRL? Actress Daisy Ridley relives the special pinch me moment of when the force called for her, in a galaxy far, far away...

5. Ocean’s 8 offers up some serious girl power. With ladies including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter – we know we’re in for a real ride. June 2018, we are ready for you.
