The Story

God Of War: Ascension, released for PlayStation on March 13th, allows players to discover the origins of God of War in an epic game of action and adventure, in the heart of a mythical world full of Greek gods and monsters. The objective of the digital campaign is to increase awareness of the game with Top 10 gamers and stage the thirst for Kratos‚ revenge.

The "Filmstrip" is a new format of 300x1050mm recognized by the IAB and is beginning to gain a foothold in France, offering the ability to stream various rich media. With the interactive pre-roll, the user is invited to play a part of the game and liberate Kratos from the claws of a monster and slay it. Within the format, the user can also access the entire launch trailer, visit the official website and find the brand on all social networks.

The Technology

The Results

We were delighted to experience the Filmstrip format and an interactive pre-roll for the campaign God Of War: Ascension. These formats offer new opportunities for interacting with users and will help to develop their engagement with the brand. We also illustrated the God Of War campaign on smartphones and tablets through interstitial video aimed to surprise users and invite them to discover the trailer. It's a complete digital campaign from desktop to mobile.
