Based on Google search data as well as other sources, Britain's Higher Education Empire published by OC&C Strategy Consultants shows that international students will become an increasingly important source of revenue for UK universities, with fees from these students set to generate £7 billion in income by 2020. Institutions that haven't prioritised internationalisation can mobilise quickly by using search data to identify pockets of demand to meet the needs of this valuable pool of prospective students.
