February 2020We spent a minute with Tamara Ingram, global chair of Wunderman Thompson Group. Watch to find out what she wants everyone to stop talking about.
Interviewer: What is your professional super power?
Tamara Ingram: My superpower is I love people.
And if you love people, you love insights, and you get the best out of everyone.
Interviewer: OK, who are you?
Tamara Ingram: That’s a profound question.
My name is Tamara Ingram.
I’m chair of Wunderman Thompson.
Interviewer: Why do you love your line of work?
Tamara Ingram: Because it combines human insights, psychology, business, and creativity.
Interviewer: What has been the theme of your career?
Tamara Ingram: Rebellious street wisdom.
Just do it.
Interviewer: What is your professional mantra?
Tamara Ingram: Always learn and always say yes.
Interviewer: Which industry hot topic do you wish we would stop talking about?
Tamara Ingram: I wish we’d stop talking about data, because data is a fundamental.
It’s like the blood in the veins, and everyone’s going to have it.
But it’s the application of the data, it’s how we apply it to solving business challenges
which is more important than the thing itself.
Interviewer: And, last question, how do you inspire the next generation of creative minds?
Tamara Ingram: By being inspired by them.
